DAY 1 -  DEPART U.S.A.

A convenient evening flight takes you to Egypt.

DAY 2 - ARRIVE CAIRO

Afternoon arrival in Cairo where our host will meet, assist and transfer you to your hotel. (D)

DAY 3 - GIZA/MEMPHIS AND SAKKARA

After breakfast visit the Pyramids & Sphinx of Giza which have stood for the last 5000 years. Complete your visit at Giza with a tour of the Solar Boat Museum.After lunch continue to ancient Memphis, the first capital of united Upper and Lower Egypt and Sakkara site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser. DAY 4 -  CAIRO CITY TOUR

This morning your guide introduces you to the masterpieces of ancient art in the Egyptian Museum including the Treasures of Tutankhamun. After lunch drive to the Islamic quarter to stroll the Great Citadel begun by Saladin and visit the Mohammed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque. The day ends with a walking tour of the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. (B,L,D)

DAY 5 - CAIRO/ALEXANDRIA/CAIRO

After breakfast depart Cairo for Alexandria to visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shukafa, Qait Bay, Pompeys Pillar, the Roman Amphtheater and the Montaza Palace. Lunch at a seafood restaurant. Return to Cairo for overnight. (B,L,D)

DAY 6  - CAIRO/ABU SIMBEL/NUBIAN CRUISE BEGINS

This morning an early flight takes you to Abu Simbel where you will embark your deluxe cruise ship. After lunch visit the Temples of Abu Simbel, a symbol of international collaboration of the salvage of the Nubian monuments of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari. Welcome cocktail will be served in front of the two Temples, followed by a candlelight dinner on board the ship overlooking the illuminated temples. (B,L,D)

DAY 7 - ABU SIMBEL/WADI EL SEBOUA

Early morning sunrise visit at Abu Simbel. Breakfast is served while sailing to Ksar Ibrim. Arrive at Kasar Ibrim, sole vestige of the distant past of Nubia found in its original location. During the Pharonic period, this hill was dominated by a citadel and throughout the medieval era, the summit of the hill was dominated by a cathedral of which we can still admire some Roman arches. Lunch will be served while sailing to Amada. Visit the Temple of Amada of the 18th century dynasty, built during the reign of Thotmoses III, Amenophis III and Thotmoses IV. The hemi-speos of Derr dedicated by Ramses II to the rising sun and the tomb of Penout, viceroy of Nubia. A relaxing afternoon sail to Wadi El Seboua. (B,L,D)

DAY 8 - WADI EL SEBOUA/ASWAN

Morning visit to the Temple of Wadi El Seboua which was dedicated by Ramses II to the two Gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis. The Temple of Dakka, dedicated to the God Thot of Divine wisdom, lord of time and science, master of literature. Visit the Greco-roman Temple of Meharakka. Sail to Aswan while dining and overnight on board. (B,L,D)

DAY 9 -  ASWAN

Disembark the cruise and visit the Kalabsha Temple with its Pharonic aspect, remodelled into the Greco-Roman style and dedicated to the God Mandoulis. Continue to visit the hemi-speos of Beit El Wali, built by Ramses II in the beginning of his reign and the Kiosk of Kertassi, built in the honor of the Goddess lsis. Visit the Nubian Museum. Transfer to the Old Cataract Hotel where Agatha Christie the famous writer penned "Death on the Nile”. Enjoy the old world ambiance of this hotel. (B,D)

DAY 10 -  ASWAN - NILE CRUISE BEGINS

Enjoy the morning at your leisure before you transfer to your cruise ship. This afternoon board a felucca, the traditional sailing craft of the Nile, for a voyage along the shores of Elephantine Island. View the Botanical Gardens and the West Bank where stands the Agha Khan Mausoleum. (B,L,D)

DAY 11 - ASWAN/KOM OMBO/EDFU

This morning drive through the Nubian desert to visit the Aswan High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. Sail across Lake Nasser to the Temple of Philae; the temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis. Aftemoon sail to Kom Ombo where yoll will visit the twin temple of the Crocodile God Sobek and the Falcon Headed God Heroaris. Sail to Edfu where you will overnight. (B,L,D)

DAY 12 -  EDFU/ESNA/LUXOR

A horse drawn carriage takes you through the streets of the small village to the temple of the Falcon-headed God Horus. Return to the ship and sail to Esna, cross the lock and arrive in Luxor. Time at leisure to explore the city or to shop at the bazaar. (B,L,D)

DAY 13 -  LUXOR

After an early breakfast cross to the west bank to explore the painted tombs and mortuary temples created during the new kingdom. The tomb of Tutankhamun, the newly opened tomb of Queen Nefertari, the beloved wife of Ramses II. Visit the modern temple complex of Queen Hatshepsut, proceed to the Ramseum where you will be astonished with the site of the colossal statue of Ramses II. This afternoon visit the phenomenal Temple of Luxor. Proceed to the temple that Seti I designed and was completed by his son Ramses II; the magnificent Karnak Temple. After the sun sets enjoy a spectacular Sound & Light Show at the Temple of Karnak. (B,L,D)

DAY 14 - LUXOR - DISEMBARK CRUISE/CAIRO

Disembark cruise and visit the small but quaint Luxor Museum. Say farewell to Luxor as you transfer to the airport for a flight to Cairo. Upon arrival you are met & escorted to your hotel located in the Cairo city. (B,D)

DAY 15 -  CAIRO/USA

Farewell to Egypt! You will be transferred to the airport and assisted with check-in formalities for your flight.
